03 / How we work

How an engagement runs.

  1. Step 01

    Conversation.

    You email us. We talk about where the business is and what it needs. There is no cost for this.

  2. Step 02

    Scope.

    We agree in writing on goals, our role, the timeline and the terms. Most engagements are a fixed-scope project or a monthly retainer.

  3. Step 03

    Work.

    We embed with your team and do the work. A written update goes out every two weeks.

    Update goes to
    You, and your board or sponsor if you want them on it.
    Measured against
    The goals agreed in writing at Scope.
    We are accountable for
    The activities agreed at Scope, named in the scope document.
    You keep
    Ownership, budget approval and the final say on strategy and senior hires.
    If a goal is missed
    We tell you in writing that week, with a recovery plan for you to approve.

  4. Step 04

    Handoff.

    We hand over to a team you own, or we keep running it. You decide.

    Management Services includes building that team.
